OUR STORY
In 2011, Brenda and her family came across Sun Flour Mills when they began their gluten and dairy free journey with their entire family. After years of health issues with their daughter, Kelsey, they were introduced to Sun Flour Mills by their physician and dietitian when she was diagnosed as being gluten and dairy intolerant. At the time, Kelsey had to go on a strict gluten, dairy, and egg free diet. It was difficult to find not only gluten free, but also dairy and egg free food that tasted good. Sun Flour Mills was a perfect fit. It could be made egg free, and it tasted great! 

In 2014, Brenda believed in the products so much that she purchased the company to share with others. She knew the health struggles they had gone through as a family and how hard it was to learn how to eat gluten and dairy free.  It was the perfect opportunity to introduce the product to others that may be going through the same health challenges they had experienced, including autoimmune diseases, food intolerances, and thyroid issues. 

Sun Flour Mills was initially founded in 2009 and since Brenda took over the company in 2014, she has rebranded, recertified the product, and has been growing the company at the grassroots level. Everyone in the family has pitched in to help the company grow. Brenda and Kelsey are actively working towards Sun Flour Mills to not only be your go-to product, but also the go-to resource of information for those that may be going through similar family struggles.

From the time we began in 2009 to today, we made a commitment to incorporate whole grain ingredients, high in quality so that we can provide you with a variety of products that taste great. What makes our company unique is that our grains are high in fiber and protein; free of not only gluten but dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, and nuts; and all products can be made Vegan. We understand the sensitivity to multiple food allergies and/or intolerances.  It’s through detail and dedication that we ensure delicious products for people who experience these issues.
