Pecan Braids / Sticky Buns
Ingredients
- Sun Flour Mills Whole Grain Bread Mix
- 3/4 cup dairy free margarine or butter
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp Karo syrup
Instructions
- Make Sun Flour Mills dough as instructed
- Transfer dough into a large pastry bag or ziplock bag
- Over medium heat melt butter, brown sugar and pecans
- Pour mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan
- Pipe dough into the shape of braids on top of the mixture
- Loosely cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 30-40 minutes
- Just prior to baking drizzle the braids/sticky buns with the Karo syrup
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15-25 minutes depending on size of rolls
- After baking invert onto a platter
